The brief was to create six illustrated images to capture the essence of our chosen author and short story. I chose "The Selfish Giant" written by Oscar Wilde and I used a variety of techniques to create the results including sketching, etching and Lino printing. I then edited the analogue results digitally using photoshop and illustrator to create the finished pieces. 

This was one of the most fun projects I worked on during college and I really enjoyed stepping away from the Mac and getting down and dirty with the Lino print and etching!! Everything has become so digital in recent years that sometimes designers can forget about the beauty that can be created getting back to basics.
